Usually reaching out and seeking help from a Clinical Nutritionist can coincide with recognising or wanting diet-based change in your life. This can range from helping to manage your weight and other metabolic health indicators such as high cholesterol or elevated blood pressure to addressing food intolerances or gastrointestinal problems but it can be so much more than this!

Food is powerful when used in the right way and a holistically trained Clinical Nutritionist can help you to unleash that power in a positive way.

I help both men and women to regain their energy, release weight, say goodbye to aches and pains, and simply feel like themselves again when nothing else works or when all the things that they’ve been doing to wind back the kilos simply stop working.

I help my clients create this transformational change using individualised nutrition. Why individualised? Simply because we are all different. I often use the analogy, “Just because every café in town serves smashed avo on sourdough doesn’t mean that this is right for everybody.” It makes sense that not every food suits everybody or, that some foods, even seemingly “good for you” foods can be blocking your success.

Here are just some conditions and symptoms that I work with and that can be improved through “getting the food right”

  • Metabolic conditions such as obesity, high cholesterol, insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, and diabetes types 1 and 2, high blood pressure
  • Digestive issues – food intolerances, reflux (GERD), bloating and abdominal discomfort after eating, constipation, and irregular bowel patterns
  • Hormonal conditions – hot flushes, irregular and/or painful periods, PCOS, low libido
  • Skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, acne
  • Autoimmune conditions
  • Thyroid conditions
  • Insomnia
